OUR VALENTINE'S DAY: EXPECTATION VERSUS REALITY

Our original plan for Valentine’s Day:

Agatha was supposed to attend playschool in the morning and join their special Valentine’s Day activity. After playschool, we planned to have lunch at Coffee at Arsenia's bago pumasok sa work si dadi Cy.

Kaya lang, the night before, nilagnat si Agatha followed by mild diarrhea. I was really hoping she’d feel better the next day pero waley talaga, so I had to message her teacher that she wouldn’t be able to participate. Yun pa naman ang pinaka-inaabangan ko about Valentine’s Day. I was so excited for her to celebrate with her playmates and participate in the activities. We even prepared loot bags filled with treats for the kids and chocolates for the teachers.

We just stayed home all day while dadi Cy went to work.

Kinagabihan, nag takeout nalang si dadi Cy ng kare-kareng gulay from Giligan's, and he brought home flowers with a balloon for me and our dearest daughter. Nawala na lagnat ni Agatha kaya she was very active and excited sa natanggap nya from her dadi.

She wanted to put the flowers and the balloon in a vase pero wala naman kaming ganun sa bahay kaya gumamit nalang ako ng plastic tumbler. lol. Tuwang-tuwa talaga sya.

Expectation: Valentine’s Day out with Agatha.
Reality: We stayed home, had takeout, and flowers ended up in a plastic tumbler.

Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but I’m still grateful that our little family is happy and complete. :)
