DADI'S 38TH BIRTHDAY: CANYON COVE HOTEL & SPA, NASUGBU, BATANGAS 🎉
We initially planned on camping for 3 days to celebrate dadi's birthday kaya lang halos araw-araw umuulan, lalo na siguro doon sa campsite na gusto sana namin, especially ko, puntahan in Laguna.
We booked nalang an overnight stay at Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa in Nasugbu, Batangas via Klook. It's way cheaper than the resorts in San Juan at mas malapit sa amin.
We got the Superior Twin room with buffet breakfast. It was spacious and has a window nook bed overlooking the ocean. They provided toiletries, laundry bag, and soft slippers. The room also has a safe deposit box for our important belongings, and everything was working well naman especially the AC. Nag effort din sila mag print ng 'Happy Birthday' para kay husband.
Around 5 pm pumunta na kami sa dagat. We didn't need to bring towels kasi they have a fresh towel station for guests.
What we liked about Canyon Cove is hindi na namin kelangang lumayo to enjoy a pristine ocean water. Both kids and adults can enjoy the beach. Just avoid going here on weekends and holidays kasi for sure soooobrang daming tao.
There were few food stalls in the area selling Japanese food, Filipino food, snacks like Jamaican patties, fries, and fruit shakes. We bought unflavored and unsalted fries for Agatha. Dami nyang nakain. In fairness sa taste and quality, okay na okay. Kahit ung takoyaki na nabili namin, tamang tama ung texture at madaming sauce sa ibabaw.
I hope magkaron sila ng mas magandang pwesto para sa mga food vendors nila kasi wala naman masyadong ganap at options sa main resto nila. Masaya na sana mag chill at mag swim pero nakakabitin sa dining experience.
We waited for the fire dancers sa balcony ng main dining area nila habang nagpapaihaw si Cy ng dinner namin kaya lang alas siyete na ng gabi. Bumalik na kami sa kwarto para makaligo na si Agatha. Binitbit nalang ni Cy ung mga inihaw papunta sa room namin para doon kainin.
After kumain at kaunting laro, nakatulog din agad si Agatha.
The next day we had buffet breakfast. Okay naman ung mga pagkain nila. May egg station so you can choose if sunny-side-up or scrambled. May coffee & juice. May pancakes, pandesal and butter. They served adobo, Spanish Sardines, etc to pair with plain and garlic rice. May fruits din.
As soon as we finished our breakfast, nagpalit na agad kami ng pang swimming at pumunta na sa dagat. It's our last day sa resort kaya kelangang sulitin lalo na ni aling maliit.
Para masulit, we stayed in the swimming pool until 9:30 AM.

Pagkatapos ng merienda we stayed in the swimming pool hanggang dumilim kasi sobrang nage-enjoy si Agatha. Ang lawak nung mga kiddie pool nila tapos yung isa hanggang hips lang nya kaya nakakalakad sya mag-isa.

After spending some time in the ocean, we went to the swimming pool next. Doon kasi talaga gustong magbabad ni Agatha.
Kapag may toddler talaga, they will never miss the chance to play in the water. Iba talaga ang saya nila pag nasa tubig. Siguro nga, what feels normal to us seems magical to them. No matter how simple, everything is a fun little adventure for them.
