AGATHA'S 2ND BIRTHDAY IN BORACAY ISLAND: DAY 2 πŸŽ‰

It’s our second day in Boracay, and today we’re celebrating our daughter’s second birthday! What better way to start the day than with a hearty breakfast and a view of the beautiful ocean. Hay. This is why I blog, to relive moments like these and feel them all over again.

Since there weren’t many checked-in guests on a weekday, they served plated breakfasts instead of a buffet. They offered naman add-ons on the side.

I opted for their English breakfast which consisted of sunny-side-up eggs, garlicky mushrooms, sausage and toasts tapos nagpadagdag ako ng daing na bangus for Agatha. Si Cy naman nag tocino meal. They also served us coffee, juice, and slices of fruits.

Agatha also tried Koko Krunch for the first time. The only cereal she eats is Cheerios but now that she's already 2 years old, she can have any kind she wants.

Anyways, I super enjoyed the food not just because of the view but because the taste and quality deserve five stars. It really started our day right.

After lunch, we took Agatha to one of the big Boracay sand sculptures for her birthday photoshoot. Quick pictorial lang kasi mainit. Mabuti nalang hindi sya nawala sa mood, though we couldn't get her to stand still. Dadi Cy took the photos and posted one on his facebook.

Pagkatapos ng quick pictorial, bumalik na agad kami sa hotel to sing her Happy Birthday. We were able to find a cute beach-themed cake in Boracay and two candles that signified her age. Yung number balloon naman dinala ko from Tagaytay.

We sang to her and then she blew out her candles. What a bittersweet moment. A reminder that as she grows older, we’re growing older too. I just hope dadi Cy and I live long enough to be there for her every milestone and see her chase her dreams.

We love you so much, our dearest daughter Agatha Hope! Madami pa tayong adventures together. 😘

Shortly after, nakatulog na si Agatha pati dadi nya. Ako naman lumabas saglit para bumili ng Matcha latte sa Starbucks because I needed extra energy! Haha.

October is lean season in Boracay but it still looked crowded. I can only imagine how busy it gets during peak season. People go to Boracay for different reasons. Some just want to relax, yung iba para mag food trip, others go for the fun, parties, or adventures. For families like us naman, it’s all about spending time together. The island really has something for everyone kaya masarap balik-balikan.

We played in the sand, soaked in the water and watched the beautiful sunset. I’m so thankful that we get to experience moments like this together as a family, and especially with our daughter.

That evening, we had dinner at Uptown Hotel so Agatha could watch the fire dancers perform. Buti nalang may mga available pang tables malapit sa stage kaya we got to watch them up close. Agatha had so much fun watching the fire dancers. She kept clapping and smiling, and didn’t get scared at all.

For dessert, we went to Coco Mama. We tried their best seller: four scoops of coconut ice cream with fresh ripe mangoes. Agatha liked it so much, halos ayaw na nyang tigilan. lol.

To cap off the night, I took Agatha for a ride on the small ferris wheel at D'Mall. As usual, walang katakot-takot. She just looked around, observing everything and pointing out the different colors of the gondolas.

So grateful for a whole day of fun for our little girl’s 2nd birthday. :)
