FAMILY CAMPING #3: EDNA'S BEACH AND CAMPSITE, CALATAGAN, BATANGAS

One of the best things about camping is that you can stay a night (or two or three) somewhere without spending a lot on accommodation. Medyo mage-effort ka nga lang talaga but if it's something you love to do then all the packing, the setup, lahat ng hassle super worth it.

We went to Edna's Beach and Campsite in Calatagan, Batangas. It's our fourth time to camp here, but first time with our toddler. We paid a total of ₱1,810 for one night which is a bit pricey compared to other campsites but I understand naman given what they offer. First, the campsite is safe and secure with at least two staff members regularly patrolling the area lalo na sa gabi. They make sure na hindi maingay ang mga campers. Second, the campsite is well-organized, clean, and free from clutter. Third, there are plenty of restrooms and bathrooms.

As usual, dadi was in charge of setting up the camp while I looked after our toddler. Anyways, since the weather was a bit gloomy, Agatha spent the rest of the afternoon playing either in the sand or in the water.

May bulanglang, chicken adobo, and fried liempo.

This is one of the joys of camping, waking up to the sounds and sights of nature tapos luto-luto ganern.

For breakfast, I cooked tinapa, sunny-side-up eggs, and corned beef with Baguio beans.
