AGATHA STARTS PLAYSCHOOL

A few months ago, as I was browsing through my news feed, I saw ads ng mga playschool dito sa Cavite. I was curious kaya I inquired to some of them and as it turned out, Agatha can already join playgroup classes na pala.

Among them, one stood out: Balai Aralan. It's a playschool where children are encouraged to learn and grow through outdoor play. Medyo may kalayuan sya pero I really wanted that learning setup for our daughter. Even my husband agreed.

After learning more of their services, we decided to try them. Agatha joined their special free trial class on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Pagpasok ni Agatha sa playroom, she seemed unsure of where to begin or what to do or who to approach but thankfully the teachers, especially Teacher Yana, were super nice and accommodating. They kept offering toys to get her comfortable even though she kept saying "no" haha. Nakatitig lang sya sa mga teachers, sa mga gamit, sa mga batang nakikita nya while making sure I was there behind her. Then a few moments later, she began to explore hanggang sa sumasali na sya sa mga activities. Hindi na nga nya napansin na lumabas na ako ng room at nakamasid nalang sa kanya sa bintana.

The class lasted for 2 hours. Kasama na dun ung break time ng mga kids. Sayang wala akong picture pero ang cute nila tignan na magkakasama sa isang table habang kumakain ng mga dala nilang snacks. We brought some cheerios and croissant from Dunkin Donuts na may palamang ham and cheese. Bumili din kami ng munchkins for the teachers that we gave after class.

After their quick snack break, lumabas na mga kids to do some outdoor activities.

They prepared a bucket of colorful chalk and a wall where they could doodle. Without anyone telling her what to do, she quickly grabbed a chalk and started scribbling. Siguro dahil familiar na sya sa ganung activity since we already allow her to play with washable crayons and chalk at home.

They also prepared basins filled with water and provided mga tabo for the kids to explore. It's so nice to see Agatha participating in activities, saying 'hi' to her playmates, and interacting with her teachers.

After the trial class, we decided to enroll her in their Saturday sessions. Yey!
