A DAY AT VILLA ESCUDERO: CARABAO CART RIDE, BUFFET LUNCH, AND SWIMMING
After almost 8 years, nakabalik din kami sa Villa Escudero in Tiaong, Quezon.
Their day tour is priced at 1,800 per person on weekdays and it includes the museum tour, carabao cart ride, buffet lunch, & swimming as early as 8 am until late in the afternoon.
Our first activity was the museum tour. Sa labas it looks like a church, but inside you'll find religious artifacts, antique furniture, traditional clothing, and preserved animals. Hindi allowed kumuha ng pictures and videos sa loob kaya you have to see it for yourself.
Sa labas naman ng museum may display ng vintage aircraft, armored vehicles, artillery and horse statues.
Medyo gloomy ang weather pagbisita namin kaya hindi mainit maglakad-lakad sa labas.
Sa halip na pumila sa buffet, kinuhanan nalang ako ni dadi Cy ng pagkain. May inihaw na tilapia, menudo, pancit, etc. Basta puro Pinoy ulam.
Ang pinaka-enjoy kong kainin ung bananacue. Perfect kasi ung pagkakaluto nya, coated ng brown sugar ung buong saba. Yan ung gusto kong ma-achieved na luto ng bananacue sa bahay.
We spent the rest of the day at the pool, and Agatha enjoyed collecting the floating flowers in the water and throwing them over and over again.
We had a great day at Villa Escudero! Super sulit. :)

After we gathered our bags and stuff, sumakay na kami sa cart na hila ng kalabaw. Her name is Mahinhin. Not sure if I remembered it right pero we were told that she's already 20 years old. I am not a fan of using animals for tourism, but the carabaos seemed healthy and not overworked naman.
The plan was to spend the entire day in the pool area lalo na may kasama kaming mga bata. There were three swimming pools: a kiddie pool, an infinity pool, and an adults-only pool. All were so inviting that even adults couldn't resist lounging in the water. Ang sarap lang tumambay.

Ina brought cakes for the recent birthday celebrants Ama and Ms Anne. Hinayaan ko ng makatikim si Agatha ng mango cake kahit wala pa syang 2 years old kasi okay lang naman yun as an occasional treat.
May café din sila by the pool kaya may mabibilhan ng coffee and refreshments. As parents, especially me, coffee (or a good matcha) is what keeps me going kaya super mega huge plus kapag may coffee shop sa area. Char!
Pwede namang si dadi Cy nalang sumama kay Agatha mag swimming at maglaro sa tubig buong araw habang nakamasid ako para naman makapagpahinga ako pero no. I want to be the kind of mom who gets in the water, not just the one waiting with a towel. I want her to always remember that I enjoy spending time with her kahit anong activity pa yan (na hindi nakakatakot haha).

At around 11 AM pumunta na kami sa famous waterfall restaurant nila. Syempre hindi pwedeng mag skip sa picture taking sa harap ng waterfall kasi isa to sa mga highlights ng trip. There was also a photographer who took our pictures para iprint as souvenir.
