MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY

Never thought I'd become a mom but here I am! Just celebrated my very first Mother's Day.

At Hidden Charm Cafe in Silang, Cavite

Husband took me to dinner at Hidden Charm Cafe in Silang, Cavite kasi masarap daw pizza nila. Totoo naman. Thin crust, tomatoey sauce, hearty toppings. We also tried the chicken pesto pasta and the farmer's nachos. Aside from good food you can also enjoy the peace and quiet kasi secluded sila. 

Our daughter is growing up so quickly. Parang kelan lang nung inuwi namin sya from the hospital, ngayon halos di na sya kasya sa infant car seat nya. In a few days, she'll be turning 7 months. Hay it's such a bittersweet journey. I'm happy that I get to watch her grow pero it also makes me sad that one day she'll be a big girl trying to conquer the world.

I hope she'll make good choices in life when she grows up, tsaka ung happy lang.

first-time mom

Motherhood has changed me a lot and it gave me a whole new level of purpose. There are good days and not-so-good days. Sometimes I feel like the house chores just never end, minsan naman it's quite manageable especially when Cy takes a day off or when Agatha takes longer naps during the day or when she sleeps earlier at night. Pero kahit challenging maging nanay I wouldn't have it any other way.

To our dearest Agatha Hope, thank you for making me a mother. I never knew I wanted to become one until I had you. And to my husband, I'm forever grateful for you being there for us. You are the most emotionally stable person I know, at sana manahin un ni Agatha.

Lord, sana umabot ako sa ika-50th Mother's Day or more. Praying the same for my husband. :)
