WEEK 04 | EVERYDAY 2020

Last week was pretty exhausting and I missed being the housewife who stays home all week. I am glad that we are recovering from the ashfall incident caused by the Taal volcano eruption two weeks ago.
My friend, Shiela, was supposed to help out in packing relief goods in Lipa City, Batangas. However, they needed to relocate for the safety of the volunteers, so she wasn't able to go yet. I then invited her to spend a day or two in Tagaytay at pumayag naman sya since she's still on "vacation". She even helped us sweep the dry leaves at Cy's office.

Sa uulitin, bex!

I also discovered a very good Chocolate Crinkles at Max's restaurant. Cy and I liked it so much!

I was so lazy I decided to just spend all day in front of my computer. :D

I  went to Mahogany Public Market to buy some vegetables.

I also bought Mangosteen. It was sold at 150 per kilo which was cheaper than usual.

Sweet and healthy!

For dinner, I cooked monggo and fried tinapa.

I finally had the courage to drink green tea. Hehe. I really wanted to quit coffee and switch to tea or fruit juice.

Loving it!

My current Green tea brand.

I also folded the laundry and washed our used clothes later that day.
I served sunny-side-up eggs and dried fish for breakfast.

It rained today, which I guess everyone hoped for.
It was raining all day, so I rescheduled my general house cleaning. hehehe.

It was a beautiful day! I've been unproductive this week and it's not my usual self. Maybe it's because I quit drinking my morning coffee. Hmmmm. Maybe I should drink coffee at least once a day to give me a boost to do my daily routine. Siguro mag-Green tea nalang ako during merienda. :D

For breakfast, I cooked fried talong and fried daing na bangus.

Instant coffee!

Cy didn't go to work today and I'm glad that he thoroughly cleaned our family car. I was also able to finally tidied up our entire house (thanks to my morning coffee). Yehey! Felt so good. Sabi na masipag talaga ako pag hindi tinatamad. :)

We went to church with the in-laws by 6 pm and ate dinner at Balinsasayaw, Tagaytay.

A quick confession: I really am not comfortable with the "peace be with you" part during the mass. I'd rather be quiet and pray for everyone's safety and wish them well.

Sunday Dinner

By the way, the alert status on Taal volcano has been downgraded to Alert Level 3. A hazardous eruption is still a possibility, but I really do hope that it won't happen.
