MY 33RD BIRTHDAY

I turned 33 today! Ang bilis ng panahon. Cy surprised me with a birthday cake at 12 midnight. Sweet! 😍

At around 6 pm, Cy came home to fetch me for our dinner date at Lime and Basil Thai Restaurant Tagaytay to celebrate my 33rd birthday. The restaurant is just 5-10 minutes drive away from our home.

A generous plate of kropek was served right after our order was taken.

The dip was a combination of fish sauce, calamansi, and sugar.

Prior to our dinner, I did a bit of research about what Thai food we should try. I skipped the Pad Thai though. Next time nalang!

Fresh Spring Rolls

The Fresh Spring Rolls were delicious! You can ask for extra sauce.

Tom Yum Goong (hot and sour soup with shrimps)

Kao Pad Sapparod (Pineapple Fried Rice)

Kaprao Talay (stir fried mussel, shrimps, squid, fish and holy basil)

Cy also ordered the Kor Moo Yang which is a grilled pork belly with coriander sauce.

After our scrumptious meal, we ordered the cafe mocha and cappuccino. We waited for quite a bit before the coffees arrived on our table, and they were warm, not hot. We thought maybe it took them long to design the froth, so we just laughed about it. lol!
