WEEK 44 | EVERYDAY 2019
We woke up to a gloomy weather which I kind of missed, so I really wanted to stay in bed all day. Housewives need a day off, too. Hehehe. Cy also took a day off.
Anyways, my in-laws came back from Dubai last night kaya we have new supplies of perfumes and chocolates and kikay items. Thanks so much! :)
I cooked boiled eggs and tuyo for breakfast (actually it was almost lunchtime 😅).

I finished my Week 43 blog and did some work, too. Cy was watching TV and our kittens were just chilling.
I spent my Monday binge-watching The 100 series on Netflix. Cy cooked tinolang manok and ate alone. In the evening, I reheated the big pandesals from Pan de Manila, sliced some cheese, and cooked pancit canton.

Cy also fixed our Christmas lights. MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)
Foggy Tuesday! Cy got a gout attack, he couldn't walk.
I cooked daing na bangus and crab & corn soup for breakfast.
I needed to do some errands for Cy since he couldn't go to work.

Ang daming stopovers!
Here were the few items I bought:
When I arrived home, I ate merienda at Ninang Yolly's house. It was her birthday! :)
For dinner, I cooked fried chicken for Cy and sliced some ripe mangoes. His left foot was still swollen and he was slightly feverish.
Spent the evening on Netflix. Season 4 Episode 12 of The 100 series was so painful to watch. Napaka-emosyonal. ðŸ˜
Finally, it was a sunny day. I was able to do my laundry and get rid of molds on our restroom ceiling. I also cooked the vegetables I bought the previous day. It was my first time to cook bulanglang and I used dahon ng sayote, gabi, kalabasa, sayote, okra, sigarilyas, and patola. I also used ginger, garlic and bagoong isda to season the dish.
It turned out right and delicious! Cy loved it!

We have been using the French press for a week now and I'm so glad we bought it. It's easy to use and absolutely low maintenance.
I've finished Season 4 of The 100 series, and we're waiting for Season 5 and 6 to come out on Netflix. I continued reading my current book called Past Perfect by Danielle Steel while drinking my coffee. I have always been fascinated with ancient people and objects and this book really touches my heart for so many reasons.
Cy was finally feeling better. Matutuloy ang aming anniversary! HEHEHE
He went to the flower shop that evening while I stayed home and read my book while waiting for his pasalubong.
It was a productive day. :)
I cooked our favorite Tofu Sisig for breakfast.
I cooked dynamite lumpia for merienda using vegan meat.
And here's mingming with oreo and mocha. I let them stay and play on the balcony with their mother during daytime, then make them sleep inside the house at night.

While cooking, I ate the cookies we bought from S&R Imus. Masarap tong cookies na to!
And here's my Dynamite Lumpia!
Cy came home at 8 pm with ripe mangoes, and he's got a new haircut.

| Thanks, hon! |
I thought it was already Saturday. lol! Cy and I were supposed to go together to their flower shop, but I told him I'd just stay home since there were already plenty of people helping out and I wasn't asked anyway.
Since I didn't have much to do, I decided to clean our refrigerator and pantry in preparation for the Christmas season and because decluttering from time to time is actually necessary for a quality life.

Since I didn't have much to do, I decided to clean our refrigerator and pantry in preparation for the Christmas season and because decluttering from time to time is actually necessary for a quality life.
I also tried this Chocolate con Leche from Pan de Manila while cleaning.
I'm in charge of the groceries (not the budget though), and I have to monitor our supplies in the kitchen. Saya lang! I also do the meal planning and cooking which I completely love (kahit tinatamad ako minsan).
Took a quick rest with our kittens.
Today, I came across this statement: We all complain we don’t have enough time, enough money, enough energy – but how are we spending it? It comes down to simplicity, authenticity, creating space for things that actually matter, and cutting out the rest. LINK
This is the very reason why I only have few friends on Facebook (around 40 who are mostly my close friends and family). When I was still "friends" with so many people on Facebook, my newsfeed was swamped with endless complaints, arrogance, innuendos, and know-it-alls. I don't want to waste any more of my time by all those nonsense. I'd rather see people in person and catch up. I also want to be more disciplined so no time will be wasted.
Cy left early to join a breakfast ride to Don Juan Boodle House in Taal, Batangas.

For breakfast, I cooked fried talong.
Anyways, meet our special dog. He doesn't go downstairs and he hates bathing! He has a tendency to become possessive of toys and he dislikes strangers. We are planning to move him to our opposite balcony. Even though he's weird, I love him dearly.
Cy arrived home around noon. We went to the cemetery with his relatives to visit their departed loved ones.

Cy's relatives were already there when we reached the tombs.
This has always been a yearly tradition.
We went to another cemetery and quickly left. We were supposed to shop for some groceries and my contact lens at Ayala Malls Serin, but it seemed impossible to find a parking spot.

| Waaaaa! |
I've decided to shop the following day. We bought pandesal and cheese on the way home.
It wasn't the kind of pandesal I was looking for, but I bought 6 pcs anyway.

| Our dinner: pancit, pandesal, cheese, and Chocolate con Nueces from Pan de Manila. |
Our breakfast was tuna chunks with cabbage and carrots.
Read my current book while having coffee.
I left the house at around 3 pm to shop for some groceries like laundry detergent, cat litter and to also buy my contact lens and solution. The traffic was quite heavy going to Mendez Crossing.
Before heading to Ayala Malls Serin, I brought Nogs first to a carwash shop. We'll be on a road trip on Tuesday and I wanted it fresh and clean para mas masarap sa feeling. :)
I was searching for fake eyelashes glue but couldn't find one. After Serin, I went to Fora and even walked to hbc Olivarez! I was so hungry but I just wanted to get it over with. I ate in the car instead.
Last stop was Daiso at Summit Ridge Promenade to find that glue but to no avail. It was a foggy evening in Tagaytay.
So maybe I was meant to visit the salon tomorrow for my hair and makeup.
When I got home, I folded the laundry and packed our luggage. We'll leave early on Tuesday and tomorrow will also be a busy day for us because we'll be attending a formal event in Manila.
It's already 1 in the morning!
Goodbye, Week 44! :)
