WEEK 43 | EVERYDAY 2019
It was Monday again! Another week, another chance to do better. I woke up at 8 AM.
Our kittens love to sit by the window.

| I cooked Gold Seas tuna chunks for breakfast. |
I love the smell of onion and garlic being sauteed in the morning. I also saw Kuya Jeff's pasalubong on our dining table. He went to Baler over the weekend.

| mushroom chips and a ref magnet |
I brought the mushrooms chips with me to Cy's office and ate it on the way. It tasted like chicharon!

| I printed some labels for our Halloween treats for Cy's employees next week. |
It was the last day of Tatay Ome's funeral. We stayed there until 11 PM.

| Plenty of people paid a visit. |

| I finished Season 3 of The 100 series and then continued reading my current book. |
When we arrived home, I saw this mess by our kittens. Buti nalang cute sila.
We slept at around 1 AM though we needed to wake up early the next day.
I didn't have enough time to cook breakfast. We ordered through a drive-thru at McDonald's and got the Cheesy Eggdesal and mushroom soup.

| Ang sarap! 😊 |
We attended Tatay Ome's burial ceremony and joined the family in taking him to his final resting place by noon. Goodbye, Tatay Ome. Till we meet again.

| At the cemetery. |
Death is inevitable, we just don't know when it's going to happen to us. And when we die, people will still move on with their lives. I was once again reminded that I should spend my life doing the things I love and accepting my self for who I really am, and not seek validation from others.
We went back to Cy's office and bought merienda!

| My husband working hard. |
We left his office at around 5 PM, bought dog food, and tried the new Japanese bistro along Santa Rosa - Tagaytay Road.
![]() |
| Nigatsu |
I ordered the Seafood Ramen (miso broth), Sizzling Tofu and Shitake, and Cy ordered the Beef Tapa flakes and Chicken Feet. They were all seriously delicious! The owner and chef, Sir Joel, was very humble and accommodating.
We got home at around 6 PM, fed our pets, and I went to bed early.
I accompanied my husband to Ford Cavite. We left the house early to get to the 9 AM appointment for Nogs' periodic maintenance.

| Good morning, Tagaytay! |
![]() |
| We reached Ford Cavite on time! |
We waited for our queue before heading to S&R Imus for breakfast and shopping.
![]() |
| Gutom na. |
S&R is just 5 minutes away from Ford Cavite. We couldn't use Nogs, so we rode a jeepney going there.
We ordered the Roast Chicken, a slice of Cheese pizza, and Caesar Salad. After our fulfilling meal, we shopped for some treats that we'll give to Cy's employees for the upcoming Halloween.
We also bought treats for our nephew CJ, and treats for ourselves. LOL! We went back to Ford Cavite at around noon and drank coffee.

| We purchased this insulated bag where we put our groceries. I will definitely use this on future excursions. |
We left at around 3 PM and headed straight to Cy's office.
Bought a burger meal from a Jollibee drive-thru along the way.

| Eng serep be? |
When we arrived at his office, I printed new labels and cut them all before going home.
I cooked fried talong and prepared salted egg salad for dinner.
I wasn't hungry yet, so Cy ate alone while I was putting labels on our Halloween treats.

| Done! |
It was my Lola Esay's 79th birthday! Cy and I went to Rosario, Batangas to be at her celebration. We stopped by at Ayala Malls Serin to buy a cake.
![]() |
| All set! |
We didn't have breakfast at home, so we ate Lomi at Botcho's along Talisay - Tanauan Rd.
It's faster to take the Ibaan Exit instead of Lipa if you're bound to Rosario, Batangas.
We arrived at lola's place past noon.

| HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOLA ESAY! :) |

| We liked the spaghetti! |
Our visit wouldn't be complete without the kapeng barako and homemade suman.
At around 5 pm, we sang her a happy birthday. She had no idea what was about to happen. My cousin told her to get the "Happy Birthday" cake topper to keep it right after blowing the candle and she was really surprised to see rolls of money coming out as she pulled the topper.
Watch the video here:
We were so happy for her. :) Time to eat the cupcakes!

| Ang sarap! 😊 |
We left at 6 PM. Dami ulit pabaon pauwi may saging saba pa! SALAMAT!!!!
If you can, spend more time with your loved ones because life is short and unpredictable. Hopefully, we could visit our lola in Davao, too.
I woke at almost 9 AM and I wasn't really into making breakfast, so I just reheated the chicken dish we brought home from lola's birthday. Since I don't eat meat, I consumed our last piece of salted egg with kamatis. After breakfast, I cleaned the house and changed the tags on some of our Halloween treats. I originally made personalized labels for Cy's employees.

| Much better! |
I also spent the afternoon researching tourist spots in Pangasinan. We are planning to go to the Hundred Islands next month for our 3rd anniversary and we have less than two weeks left to decide our final itinerary.
I left the house at 4 PM for a quick grocery shopping. My last stop is usually at Mahogany Market, but it was the first one I went to.
![]() |
| I bought the P50 Fuji rice (10 kilos) |
I used to be a fan of Dinorado rice, but I need something that is suitable for pang-sangag or fried rice. I also bought tinapa (P140 half kilo), Cebu danggit (P100 per pack), and another kind of tuyo for P100 per pack.
I bought veggies like ampalaya, sayote, talong, luya, calamansi and tokwa.
I remembered the Thai egg omelet we ate in Singapore which has fresh basil, so I bought one for only P20 per pack (or P25???) lol!
Before leaving Mahogany Market, I also purchased ground kapeng barako for our new French press.
I was supposed to shop at Robinson's Supermarket but I couldn't find a vacant parking slot, then I suddenly remembered Primark Town Center Tagaytay which I've only been to once.
After my quick grocery shopping at SM Hypermarket, I checked out Pan de Manila. I bought some products and got 6 BIG pandesal for FREE! FYI, they are open 24/7!!!

| I bought one bottle of sardines in spicy corn oil. |
There was also a milk tea shop within the area. Lam nyo na, guys! Hehehe.
![]() |
| Okinawa milk tea, P100 |
I dropped by at Mushroomburger Tagaytay on the way home to buy Shiitake Mushrooms. I will use it for tinola, adobo, etc as a meat substitute.

| P400 |
Here were some of the items I bought:
After putting the groceries away in their respective cupboards and refrigerator, I folded the laundry while watching The 100 series Season 4. Did you know Clark and Bellamy are real-life married couple????? Mas lalo tuloy akong kinikilig sa kanila. By the way, Cy was with his friends, so I didn't cook dinner.
I spent the rest of the evening researching and making a 3-day itinerary for our Pangasinan trip.
Weekend na naman! For breakfast, I cooked scrambled eggs with fresh basil and green chillis and fried Cebu Danggit.

| Happy Weekend! |
I also started using the French Press we bought last week. It is so easy to use and the coffee tastes better.
Mars and I attended the Acienda Fest at Acienda Designer Outlet later that day. I left the house at 4:30 pm after cleaning the house and our bathroom.
![]() |
| Hello!!! |
I was an hour early at the venue. While waiting for Mars, I had a quick meal in one of the food stalls inside ADO. I ordered the tunasilog.
My ticket for the Acienda Fest!
It was so nice to see Mars again. She was recently promoted from team leader to team manager. Yayamanin! Haha!
| CHEERS!!!! |
We stayed until the end to listen to Up Dharma Down.
| Singing "Tadhana" |
It was almost 11 PM when we left the venue. We were planning to eat at a Korean restaurant nearby, but it was already closed. We said goodbye to each other thru our car windows. lol!!!
The necklace and arm cuffs from Lazada finally arrived. I will be using these next month for a formal cosplay event. I'll be a Greek goddess in peach. Charot!
I woke up wishing I could just sleep all day, but I am married and have pets.
Later that day, we went to the airport to fetch my in-laws who flew to Dubai for the bridal fair. Since we left early, we had dinner first at Balinsasayaw, Silang.

| First time ko sa branch na to. |
I have always liked their kare-kare, parang di lang fresh ung seafood for that particular dish we ordered and we didn't notice any bells sa mga kubo, so we had a hard time calling the food attendants.

| Our dinner. |
I was also able to buy a kilo of Mangosteen before exiting the restaurant.
![]() |
| Ate 4 pieces on the way to the airport. |
We arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 at around 9 PM.
![]() |
| My nephew, CJ, waiting for his lolo and lola. |

| Inside Terminal 3 with this Wendy's Frosty. We waited for almost an hour. |
We reached home around 12 Midnight and slept at almost 2 AM.
