ERRAND DAY
I'm the type of person who tries to accomplish everything on my to-do list for a particular day even if it requires me to go to different directions.
First item on my task list was to pay the Meralco Bill. Cy left home at around 11 AM to go to work. I left home at 1 PM kasi naglinis pa ako ng bahay. Actually, late na kasi kami bumangon, 8:30. Late kasi kami matulog. (Bakit ba ako nag-eexplain?!) Goal naman namin gumising ng maaga. Hehehe
First stop, Meralco. Payment window line was short.
I also needed to get our family car washed and cleaned, both the exterior and the interior. I went to Petron first, pero kelangan ko maghintay ng 40 minutes kaya I looked for another car wash shop and found one along the Aguinaldo Highway. Medyo malayo.

Paid 140 plus tip. They work really hard. Let's share our blessings to others. :)

Finally cleaned up! I just noticed the excessive "Black stuff" they used in the interior of the car. It still needs to be wiped properly tomorrow.
It was past lunch time. I decided to eat at Acienda as there were food stalls there. Ang sarap gumala. Haha!
There are quite a few outlet stores. Visitors, not so many.
After my quick lunch, I went straight to Walter Mart, Serin to shop for groceries. Finally.

It's always convenient to write down your shopping lists. I also include my weekly menu sa notebook.
My menu for this week:
After Serin, I went to Mahogany Market to buy vegetables and ripe mangoes. Ang mura ng gulay sa palengke! I got home at around 6 PM. Cy was already home watching TV.
- Ampalaya
- Tinola
- Tofu Sisig
- Adobong Talong and fried fish
- Chicken Curry
- Fried Chicken
(Since I did not buy any pork, I bought Andok's liempo on the way home. Guess where? In Alfonso Crossing. lol. By the way, I still plan on going lacto-ovo-pescatarian (a person who does not eat meat but still eats fish, eggs and dairy). Not sure when though. Minsan nakaka-guilty kumain ng meat. :(
In the supermarket, I bought Broas (Ladyfingers) for my mango float. Instead of Graham crackers, I'm going to use Broas. Tignan ko nga kung mas masarap. I also bought a whistling kettle because we've decided to ditch 3-in-1 coffee and switch to the traditional way of brewing. Yung pakukuluan mo ang kape at asukal just like what my relatives do in Batangas. :)
After ko mag-grocery, I dropped by Dakasi for some Okinawa milk tea. :)
This has always been a tradition after shopping. Lol!!!
And I found out that they're selling metal straws for only 40 pesos each. Why not coconut!
One is a standard straw and the other is a "pearl" straw. hehe
I bought two different sizes. They also come with a brush. Nice diba!? I'll bring these all the time.

That's about it! I will make my mango float tomorrow. Tignan ko nga kung mas masarap pag ginamit ay Broas. Good night! :)
