GRATITUDE

Cy just got home from his breakfast-ride-turned-morning-to-evening ride. He went to Subic with some of his fellow riders, and rode around Bataan. Looks like this is going to be his hobby for years to come. I'm not complaining. This makes him happy, so I'm happy. =p

His pasalubong. :)

Anyways, I spent the night binge-watching "Dynasty" on Netflix, and I'm writing before I go to bed. I promised my self to "blog" more often. Time flies so fast, and I want to relive my memories through this. This also helps me to reflect on my life. The more I write, the more I become aware about my self, and the things that happen around me.

Today, I'm thankful for so many things: our own little place we call home, the freedom to do whatever we want,  a home-based job with flexible schedule, a husband who works hard, etc. Sometimes, I tend to take these all for granted. I guess I should consciously remind my self each morning to be grateful for all the wonderful things I have.

And why practice gratitude?

When you focus on what can be considered as your blessings in life, you tend to be happier, healthier and you experience a deeper sense of fulfillment. The habit of gratitude has a number of life-affirming, positive effects.
  • Helps you better cope with stress.
  • Improves your overall health and well-being.
  • Helps you develop stronger bonds and relationships.
  • Make you feel more secure and self-assured.
  • Increases overall happiness and self-satisfaction.
  • Keeps you inspired and increases creativity.

What are you thankful for?

Good night! :)
