VALENTINE'S DAY 2022

Valentine's Day na naman!

Since naalala ko na may masarap nga palang unli wings na malapit samin doon ko niyaya si Cy mag dinner.

Twice na kami kumain sa Crosswings last year tapos they temporarily closed and made some renovation. Ngayon Crosswings 2.0 na sya. Hehehe. 

Not sure if pwede mag reserve ng seats pero I assumed na on a first-come, first-served basis sila kaya basta nalang kami pumunta. Pagdating namin ang daming tao tapos may isang group din na naghihintay sa labas ng gate. Buti nalang may mga tapos ng kumain kaya nakaupo kami agad.

Iba na ang anyo nila ngayon. Made of concrete na ang kicthen, meron ng bar/counter at naka-hiwalay na ung area where they prepare the drinks and coffee.

Anyhow, we were seated near the kitchen area kaya ramdam ko ung pagka-busy ng mga staff during our dinner. In fairness naman hindi kami nahirapan mag order every time. Mabilis din dumating ung wings.

Nakalagay pala sa menu na within an hour and 15 minutes ka lang pwedeng mag order ng unli wings.

Hindi ko alam if Valentine's Day lang ba talaga ngayon kaya madaming tao or everyday ganitong ka crowded. Di naman ako nagtataka kung laging madaming tao kasi masarap at sulit naman talaga mag unli wings dito.

For 279 pesos (no hidden charges) you'll get unli wings na may 31 flavors to choose from, unli rice, unli pasta na spaghetti and carbonara, unlimited drinks na may three choices, at free coffee after your meal!

Syempre we opted for the Unli All priced at 279 pesos. Madami din silang ala carte meals if ayaw mong mag unli wings. 

For your initial order you can choose either rice or pasta tapos you are only allowed to get 4 pieces of chicken wings with single flavor. Mine was garlic butter tapos si Cy naman nag honey barbecue sauce and spaghetti.

Both the carbonara and spaghetti masarap at saucy. Ung carbonara hindi sya super cheesy pero ayos na ayos na sya for the price! Yung spaghetti naman perfect na pang birthday ang lasa, yung tipo ng spaghetti na babalik-balikan mo sa handaan. Haha!

So you will get a combination of drumette or wingette na may tip. Usually di ko gusto ung drumette part pero dahil juicy ung meat keri lang. They've been consistently serving juicy wings na crunchy ang breading at mainit-init pa talaga. Flavorful din ung mga sauce nila at lahat available. 

We enjoyed our dinner despite the hasty atmosphere.

Crosswings is not just a place to eat, the ambiance also encourages customers to bond together habang kumakain ng unli wings. Super chill lang ng lugar.
