INA'S 60TH BIRTHDAY

My mother-in-law has reached another milestone in her life. She just celebrated her 60th retro-themed birthday party last night. The relatives, her amigos and amigas, and her friends in the wedding industry joined the festive event. We even dressed up to match the motif! And since it was a grand celebration, Ina bought a custom-made dress and hired makeup and hair artists not just for her, but also for us.

The guests started to arrive at around 5 PM and we were all in a hurry for a quick family photo session. Thankfully, we were done and ready before all the guests had arrived. Magaling ang aming photographer from Freshminds. :)

After the quick family pictorial, we went ahead to mingle with some of our relatives and also started drinking cocktails! Wooooo!!!!! 😋 

Old upbeat songs were being played by a live band and the venue was filled with colorful PAR lights by Artuz 101 Lights and Sounds.

We didn't wait too long before Ina made her beautiful entrance. She looked like a debutante celebrating her 18th birthday. :) Ama, my father-in-law, gave her a bouquet of flowers on stage. Yieeee!!!! :)

The first activity of the program was the 6 Sweet Dancers (women) followed by the 6 Cheers (men). Every one of them gave a message to the birthday celebrant. After that, they danced and drank shots.

Then, the Cake Ceremony! :) So many cakes! The retro-style cake was from Tourist Cakeshop at kay Kuya Henry Enriquez, salamat daw sa sorpresang 3-tier cake mo and sa cake ng The Pulo family. :)

Finally, DINNER TIME! :) Ate Cathy led the prayer.

After our scrumptious dinner, Chelle serenaded us while Ina was watching a slideshow we prepared especially for her. 

There were also surprise dance performances and surprise greetings AVP by the people who truly love her. 

Some games were played as well. Congratulations to the winners of Starbucks and Serenitea gift certificates! :)

And of course, the party wouldn't be complete without the messages from the family members and the birthday celebrant herself.

I'm sure that Ina really appreciated everyone's presence. <3 div="">

And to end the evening's program, the emcee announced the Male and Female BEST 60s DRESS.
