CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES - PART ONE
Last weekend I tried making chocolate truffles though I added unsweeted cocoa powder before I rolled them into balls coz of the texture. Tignan ko if this time, the mixture will be firm enough. Pero bet ko ung paglagay ko ng cocoa powder, kase para syang naging black chocolate which is my favorite. :)
Here's how I do it. I doubled the recipe pala kase ang bilis naubos nung dati dito sa bahay. Paborito sya ni mama and she actually requested I'd make more (bukod sa Kimbap).
2 cups of chopped semi-sweet chocolate. Mejo effort toh ha... I bought the block of choco from Sweetcraft, Mandaluyong. My favorite baking supplies store! |
1 cup of Heavy Cream. I use the one with 35% milk fat kase yan lang available sa grocery. The higher the milk fat or butter fat the better. Para mas firmer result! |
58 grams of unsalted butter. 1 stick is 100 grams. Wala pa akong weighing scale na digital kaya tantsahan nalang muna. Should be cut into small pieces. |
Here's the 3 ingredients. You can add a liquor in your mixture, but I didn't try. Wala akong rhum. Puro BRANDY lang and wine andito sa bahay. :) |
Heat the cream and butter in a saucepan until it boils. |
So there!
I'm excited for my chocolate truffles. Sarap lang neto pag-uwi ko ng bahay may kakainin ako galing freezer. Coating nya will be Dessicated Coconut. Sarap!!!!
Perfect gift! Perfect pasalubong sa friends and loved-ones na dadalawin! Haha! :)
Continuation sa PART II.... =p
